What is a Cyber Meet?

At the end of the Summer Swim season, Prince William Swim League conducts a series of Divisional Meets. Over 3,500 young swimmers are in the water on the last Saturday in July at the culmination of each of their seasons. At the end of Divisionals day, all of the swim team computer reps (Computer Dweebs or Geeks) get together at one of the pools and merge each of their final divisional meet files into one large meet file, as though all of the teams were swimming together in a single huge meet. (How many cheese nachos could you eat at THAT one?)

The result ranks each swimmer's time for the INDIVIDUAL events (no relays) that he or she swam that day against all of the other swimmers in the PWSL who swam the same event at Divisionals. The top 24 swimmers in each event are awarded Cyber Ribbons.

SPST's Cyber Meet results shows only Stonewall Swimmers, and their rank in the PWSL for the events they swam during Divisionals. (Note that DQ's are not shown.)
